This is a little anonymous box so that we, Ailsa and Chris, can gain insights into your brains and hearts as we create this new class with you. We made it anonymous because creativity can feel personal and tender, but you can always leave your name if you like.
There are two kinds of questions we’re interested in.
“Writing Craft” questions might sound like:
How do I approach editing, especially when I’m tired of a piece of writing?
What does it mean to “show don’t tell” and what about the times when I want to just tell?
How do I get setting and sense of place into my writing without slowing it down too much? How do I find the balance?
“Writing Life” questions might sound like:
What does it mean to have a writing routine? Why is it so hard?
How do I keep my motivation up when I either have no ideas of have been working on the same thing for too long?
How do I balance my drive to publish with my desire to write for myself?
Us this form as much as you like! Leave as many questions as you like! Use this before the class and throughout it. Keep coming back. We are listening.
