BIPOC Poem Request Jar

Welcome to the poem request jar, BIPOC-edition!

This is a special version of our Poetry Request Jar, just for our BIPOC programming. We’ll use this for our Lift Off class, BIPOC version, and maybe other BIPOC programming in the future.

We welcome poem requests from Black, Indigenous and people of colour, including mixed-race folks. Requests will be randomly selected. If the group chooses yours, they’ll write you poems, and the facilitator will send them to you.

Just making sure we're on the same page: If you make a request here we'll pop it in a jar. We'll randomly choose from the jar over the course of our BIPOC Lift Off poetry class. If your request is chosen, a small group of poets will interpret it however they like and write you poems, and then we'll send you the ones they want to share via email.
