Welcome to our bonfire accessibility page!

Dufferin Grove Park is a large city park in Toronto. We’ll be gathering at the “Cobb Courtyard Campfire,” in the south end of the park near the playground. Here’s the location on a map; look for the red teardrop.

Accessibility Notes:

  • Dufferin Station, the closest subway stop, is wheelchair accessible.

  • The fire pit is accessible via a paved path running north-south through the park.

  • Bathrooms with accessibility features are located in the new north clubhouse, via paved path, and will be open until 8pm.

  • There are logs around the fire pit and you are welcome to bring your own chair. We’ll bring at least 8, including some suitable for bigger bodies, rated up to both 300 and 400 pounds.

  • Masks are welcome but not mandatory.

  • There will be a “welcome station” where you can check in when you arrive if you like. It will be a table set up with a Firefly banner. We’ll have name tags, marshmallows to toast (regular and vegan) and we’ll help you get settled.

  • There will also be a “welcome committee” wearing bright purple stickers watching for anyone who could use someone to chat to. If you’d like to be a welcomer, let us know, or check in and get your sticker at our welcome station when you arrive.

Questions? Other needs? We’d love to talk.
