The one who keeps us organized…
Meet Lesley, our Digital Programs Manager. She has a massive creative heart paired with an incredibly sharp mind, a perfect person to take care of a million little behind-the-scenes details that keep Firefly zipping along.
Lesley has an MBA and worked in the insurance world for nearly two decades before leaving to create a life more saturated in connection and creativity. In the year or so after leaving full-time work, she completed a 10-day silent meditation course, tidied her home using the KonMari method, and volunteered at Hot Docs. Lesley is passionate about using spreadsheets and 30-day challenges to form habits and meet her goals. Life eventually led her to take a memoir writing class at the Toronto Public Library, where she found Firefly. We are so glad she did!
A perfect Saturday for Lesley would include waking up early for a bit of "me-time" and spending the rest of the day with her husband—visiting a different part of the city, eating something delicious, watching a film, or curling up on the couch with their furbaby Lulu.
